Ted develops reconciliation training courses and writes manuals for courses ranging from 8 hours to 120 hours. He teaches in congregations, church-worker conferences, schools, universities, and seminaries throughout the world. He has worked on six different continents, equipping thousands of church body workers from more than 40 countries.

Over the last 30 years, Ted has spoken to audiences ranging from less than 50 to more than 3,000 in person. He has been translated live in more than 15 other languages

Ted has developed training courses in personal biblical peacemaking, conflict coaching, mediation, and adjudication. He developed leadership courses for church and ministry leaders including a practicum on teaching. He has written and presented courses for universities and seminaries, including studies for Doctor of Ministry degrees.

Ted has also spoken on structure and governance for churches and other Christian ministries. He presents seminars on his books, including Built on the Rock: The Healthy Congregation.

In addition to his regular presentations, he has presented custom presentations related to Christian reconciliation, organizational issues, and motivation. He is also sought out for devotional messages.

Although officially retired, Ambassadors of Reconciliation continues to feature Ted as a key presenter in many of their courses.

Not only has Kober provided consultative services to individual congregations and organizations, but he also has published significant works that contribute to the wisdom and well-being of churches, pastors and lay leaders. These publications include numerous articles, training materials and manuals, Bible studies and devotional writings. Some of these works include Confession & Forgiveness (Concordia Publishing House: 2002), Cultivating Lifestyles of Reconciliation (co-authored with Ken Sande; Ambassadors of Reconciliation: 2009), Go and Be Reconciled: What Does This Mean? (Ambassadors of Reconciliation, 2016), and Built on the Rock: The Healthy Congregation(Concordia Publishing House: 2017), which has been used in Concordia Seminary’s PRA506 course.
